Whole house system automatically backwashes as needed and completely removes Arsenic+3 and Arsenic +5. Arsenic is found in many water supplies and recently the EPA has lowered the recomneded max levels that shoud be in our water. There are many ways to remove arsenic from your water. However, this system will remove the highest levels of both arsenic+3 and arsenic+5 from your water no matter the ratio.
Adedge Technologies' BayoxideE33 media is the industry standard for arsenic reduction that reduces up to 99% of total arsenic, including both arsenic (III) and arsenic (V). It is also effective in reducing other heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, chromium, antimony and molybdenum. The resin is supplied as clean, dry, granular media composed of a ferrous oxide composite and it is NSF/ANSI 61 Certified. This resin's performance is nearly unaffected by ordinary anions, such as chlorides, bicarbonates or sulfates. The resin is effective over broad water chemistry and the entire pH range. Media lasts 2-3 years and no arsenic is released during backwash and spent media is non-hazardous and can be discarded as household waste. The system requires 9 GPM of flow rate for effective backwash of the media and can treat up to 6 GPM in normal service mode.
System includes 12" x 52" VORTECH tank for optimum backwash, the Fleck 7000 High Flow Digital control valve for automatic backwashing, bypass valve, and 2.0 cu. ft. of AdEdge AD33 arsenic removal media that removes all levels of arsenic.
